Baldwin Calls Elon Musk ‘A Scumbag’ On ‘The View’, Musk reacts

In a heated exchange on the daytime talk show “The View,” actor Alec Baldwin called out tech mogul Elon Musk, calling him a “scoundrel” and criticizing his treatment of workers.

The incident happened during a discussion about Elon Musk’s recent controversial tweets regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. AND Baldwin, a frequent critic of Elon Musk, took the opportunity to air his grievances about the billionaire’s business practices.

Baldwin said, he is a scoundrel, plain and simple and he treats his employees like crap and doesn’t care about anything other than making more money.

Baldwin accused Elon Musk of exploiting his employees and creating unsafe working conditions in his factories, and criticized Musk for his involvement in space exploration, saying the money could have been better spent on social programs and infrastructure.

The comments didn’t sit well with some of the other hosts on “The View,” who accused Baldwin of being too harsh on Musk.

He’s an innovator and a visionary, said co-host Sunny Hostin. You can’t deny that he has done a lot of good for the world.

Despite the pushback, Baldwin stood his ground, saying he would continue to speak out against Musk and other wealthy individuals who he believes are profiting off the people.

He said, I am not going to back down. Somebody needs to hold these people accountable.

Elon Musk has not responded directly to Baldwin’s comments, but he tweeted shortly after the episode aired, saying that his focus is on “advancing humanity” and that he is “not interested in engaging in petty criticisms”.
